Namibia Desert Safari – Wilderness Safaris
Take a safari with Trek to one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, Namibia. This Namibia Desert Safari is wildly different than a typical game viewing experience. The magnificent desert dunes of Sossusvlei and the Skeleton Coast are your backdrop for the best game viewing on earth.
Your first stop will be the Kulala Desert Lodge in the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve, home to iconic Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. After two nights there, you will travel by air to Swakopmund stay at the Hansa Hotel and experience the Atlantic coast on a private boat, with the chance to spot pelagic birdlife, Cape fur seals and Heaviside’s dolphins.
After two nights in Swakopmund, it is off to the legendary Skeleton Coast. Your first stop is Wlotskasbaken, where you will see shipwrecks and and a ghostly diamond mine. After an overnight stay at the Terrace Bay Lodge, you will continue through the Skeleton Coast National Park to the Möwe Bay Museum, two oases and more incredible dune visages. Two overnights will be spent at the Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp.
Next on the itinerary is the Desert Rhino Camp, a rocky and mountainous area that is home to giraffe, oryx and springbok. You will spend two days at the Camp, which will include time tracking the ultra-rare black rhino with the Save the Rhino Trust. On the final day, you will be transferred by air back to Windhoek.
