A refined and exclusive shooting experience awaits just outside Paris at the historic Château de Voisins. Trek International Safaris invites you to enjoy driven pheasant and partridge shooting on one of France’s most prestigious estates, steeped in elegance and tradition.
A listed Historic Monument, the Domaine de Voisins shines around its castle, rebuilt in the early 20th century at the initiative of Count Edmond De Fels, a Parisian banker and great hunting enthusiast, who acquired it in 1892. Its gardens and landscaped grounds also contribute to its reputation for high-class hunting!
For over 100 years, this country estate has welcomed numerous French and foreign hunters of all levels, eager to engage in high-flying bird hunts. Ducks, pheasants, and partridges remain the main game animals found on the estate and raised on site, ensuring a quality of birds that defies the most demanding rifles.
Trek’s in-house travel team will coordinate every aspect of your journey—from flights and transfers to gun permits and travel insurance. Château de Voisins is an ideal destination for couples, corporate retreats, or hunters seeking an elegant European shooting experience within easy reach of Paris.
The Trip
Your adventure begins with a quick transfer from Paris to the Yvelines region—an hour’s drive to the elegant Château de Voisins.
Rendezvous as from 8:45 a.m. Welcome coffee in the Chateau’s library, followed by breakfast until 9:45 a.m. Safety briefing kicking off the three morning drives of the day. Aperitif, followed by lunch in the main dining room before heading out for two further drives. End of the shot game over the arrangement and display of respect in front of the Château.
The Experience
Château de Voisins is renowned for its traditional European driven shoots, offering fast-flying pheasants and ducks presented over a diverse landscape of woods, fields, hedgerows and large bodies of water. Each drive is carefully orchestrated with experienced beaters and loaders, creating challenging shooting opportunities for both seasoned sportsmen and first-time driven shooters. A typical day consists of four to five organized drives, with elevenses served in the field and a break for a refined lunch at the château. Guns are limited to ensure exclusivity, camaraderie, and a personal shooting experience.
