Las Ahijaderas

Thanks to favorable hunting laws in Castilla-León, we are able to offer hunts during exclusive months when partridge and other game hunts are closed elsewhere in Europe. The program’s accomplished gamekeeper, Alfonso Fabres, also serves as your host for this exceptional adventure.

The Spanish “Perdiz Roja” is the ultimate test for any wingshooter. Known for their unpredictable flight patterns, these fast, high-flying game birds will challenge even the most seasoned shooters.

Hunting comprises four to five drives per day, with an average daily bag of 500 birds per group. Enjoy the camaraderie of rotating positions and the excitement of center-line and end-line blinds.

Your day begins with a “tomelot” (lot drawing) for blind positions. Each blind includes a cargador (loader) and secretario (spotter). Between drives, cool drinks are served, and after the second drive, savor a gourmet lunch in the field. The day concludes with a grand “Tableau”—a ceremonial display of the day’s success.
