Putting together our Argentina couples adventure is a time-honored tradition here at Trek, and we must admit we enjoy hosting this trip almost as much as our guests love the experience. Join Trek in 2021 as we experience the magic of this country’s beautiful landscapes, colorful cities, generous people, flavorful cuisine and dazzling culture with you.

The adventure begins with two nights in the capital city, Buenos Aires, with a day and half of touring and an evening with dinner and a tango show. From here the trip continues to the Cordoba Region of the country for a four night stay at the 5-star Guayascate Lodge in all of its magnificence. Guests consistently give top ratings to not only the food and wine but the friendly and accommodating staff as well.  Those shooting will have three full days out in the fields, while those who choose to stay behind in the lodge can enjoy a luxurious spa experience or adventure out onto the stunning expansive estate.  After the hunting portion concludes, the itinerary will head to Mendoza, in the heart of Argentina’s esteemed wine region, for three nights. While here enjoy tours and tastings at multiple wineries and have fun participating in a cooking class to create your own delicious dishes (extra wine included of course).

Your trip concludes with an overnight flight back to reality, though we hope you’ll take a little bit of Argentina home with you to share with others.

This adventure delivers something for everyone: the experience of metropolitan Argentina in Buenos Aires, Mendoza’s majestic landscape, quaint vineyard tours and cooking classes, the total indulgence of Cordoba’s five-star Guayascate Lodge and Spa, and of course, the region’s incomparable wingshooting for our hunters. We always say that the best part of this adventure is sharing the experience with our travel partners and what is always an incredibly fun and engaging group.

It is always a thrill for us to share the magic of this country’s breathtaking landscapes, colorful cities, generous people, flavorful cuisine and dazzling culture with our hosted groups. The trip kicks off with two nights in the capital city, Buenos Aires, with a day and a half of touring and an evening with dinner and a tango show.

Upon departing Buenos Aires, we continue to the Cordoba region of the country for a four-night stay at  the five-star Guayascate Lodge. Guayascate’s breathtaking setting, incredible food and wine selection, spa and accommodating staff deliver such a high-level experience, it can be easy to forget this is the industry’s leading dove hunting operation.

Those shooting will have three full days in fields teeming with eared doves, while others in the group can enjoy an indulgent spa experience or explore the stunning and expansive estate to experience the Argentinian countryside in truly authentic fashion. Each night, share a gourmet dinner and connect around the lodge’s signature fire pit for wine, cocktails and story sharing.

After experiencing the best of Cordoba, we will head to Mendoza, in the heart of Argentina’s highly esteemed wine region for three nights. While in Mendoza, we will enjoy tours and tastings of the region’s famed Malbecs and other wines at multiple wineries dotting the scenic countryside. We will also enjoy a cooking class, which is always a hit for the entire group due to the delicious culinary creations and extra wine included in this part of the tour.

Your trip concludes with an overnight flight back to reality, though we know you’ll take a little bit of Argentina home with you to share with others.

In late fall, beautiful plants and flowers are in bloom in the gardens and it too serves as a pleasant place to unwind. If it is too cold, you may go inside and settle down in front of the fire.

Any need you may have will be attended to by our courteous staff. Snacks and drinks are readily available and quickly replenished. Every essential has been anticipated for your comfort (including Wi-Fi throughout the lodge) and we strive to make your stay is a memorable one.
