Rainbow River Lodge

The success of any Alaska fishing operation relies on three key factors; location, location and location. Of course, you must have a great staff and incredible surroundings to compliment your GPS coordinates, and Rainbow Bay has that and more. Owner/operator Chad Hewitt has developed what was once a good lodge into a great facility that utilizes one of the best assets in Alaska, the infamous Copper River. Anglers the world over have come to the Copper to taste the honey that is one fantastic battle after another for rainbow trout in the 30 inch range and it’s a Tiger Woods drive and edge away from your cabin door.

Not only will you experience tremendous fishing on the Copper, but you will be flown to the area’s best trout and salmon waters, within reach of their DeHavilland Beaver Float planes. The lodge has beautiful new outside cabins with wonderful wood interiors and a common dining and lounge area affording spectacular views.

Larsen Bay Lodge

Tucked away in beautiful Larsen Bay on the northern side of Kodiak Island is a lodge where one can really get away from it all and enjoy a real Alaskan fishing experience. Larsen Bay Lodge has been in operation since 1979 and offers a wide variety of fishing and hunting services at very affordable rates. Their fishing includes saltwater species like halibut, salmon and black sea bass as well as freshwater action for rainbow trout, steelhead and Dolly Varden in the Karluk and Ayakulik Rivers. Larsen Bay is a family owned business with cabins on the water offering real Alaskan hospitality and serving the best seafood from your very own crab pot.

Kulik River Lodge

Located in the famous Bristol Bay watershed, Kulik is part of the Katmailand umbrella of fine Alaskan Lodges. Well known for their network of planes, service and the only lodgings allowed in Katmai National Park, Kulik offers not only terrific fishing, but incredible views of the volcanos, glaciers and multi-colored tundra of the Aleutian Range from your native spruce cabin overlooking the Kulik River. Salmon, rainbow trout, Arctic Char, grayling and lake trout are available within 100 miles of the lodge, using very affordable optional flyouts. If you like game viewing, there will be ample opportunities to see bear, moose, caribou, eagles and beaver.

Iliamna River Lodge

This is a new property that fulfills a unique void between high-end fly out lodges and a productive home waters operation. Located on the banks of the pristine Iliamna River, the Iliamna River Lodge will surpass all expectations of what an Alaskan wilderness lodge views, secluded accommodations, and unmatched service, you’ll find everything you need to experience the fly fishing adventure of a lifetime. The lodge is sitting in not only the heart of Alaska’s best fishing area, it is also surrounded by breath-taking Alaska scenery. Nestled among pines overlooking the Iliamna River where our float planes land and take off, the lodge gives our guests easy access to fabled local waters to fish for Trout, Salmon, and Char. Our newly built spacious cabins are appointed with efficient heating, walk-in showers, and a front porch that offers fantastic views of nearby peaks and the Iliamna River. A group of eight gets exclusive use of Iliamna River Lodge where owner Bill Betts makes sure you experience the real Alaska.

Royal Wolf Lodge

Royal Wolf is an owner operated luxury lodge located in Alaska’s Katmai National Park and Preserve, providing you with the opportunity to catch more rainbow trout in a week than most do in a lifetime. As pioneers in the Alaskan lodging industry, Royal Wolf offers both an experience that is unspoiled “Old Alaska”, while supp observing practices that support the preservation of resources for future anglers. The lodge’s trout-filled “Home River” is within walking distance from your cabin, and you also have access to 20 additional daily options for Alaska’s unparalleled wild stream fishing. The lodge itself welcomes you with a comfortably modern space decorated with Alaskan artifacts, photographs and paintings. Large picture windows extend breathtaking vistas of water and rolling hills of blooming tundra. From here you are mere moments away from some of the most thrilling angling on Earth.

Big Ku Lodge

Big Ku Lodge is the premier destination for trophy rainbow trout, with fish in the three- to six-lbs. range very common, as well as some monster fish that exceed the eye-popping 10 lbs. threshold. With exclusive use of over 10,000 acres along the lakeshore and river, Big Ku has the ability to access the numerous sensational salmon streams by jet boat. This allows our clients the option to reach the best water in almost any weather at a price which is significantly less than the surrounding fly out lodges. Perched on a bluff, overlooking the 14-mile long Kukaklek Lake, Big Ku Lodge is surrounded by rolling hills of alpine tundra, snow capped mountains, Kukaklek Lake and the Alagnak River. This is a great river, hosting runs of salmon and trout from early June through September, and is dead center in the finest trophy rainbow trout fishing in the world.
