If 100-200+ lbs. tarpon (and lots of them) are what you’re after, it’s time to stop scrolling and punch your ticket for this Costa Rica fishing adventure. Whether you choose Silver King or Rio Parismina you’ll be positioned to experience some of the most productive waters on the planet for doing battle with massive tarpon.

Upon arrival into San Jose, you’ll be met by a Trek partner representative to begin your Costa Rica tarpon fishing trip. You’ll have a short drive to the Hotel Cariari for the evening to enjoy a nice dinner and some of San Jose’s lively nightlife if you so choose. The next morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a short commercial flight to either Silver King or Rio Parismina. You will stow your gear, enjoy a quick breakfast, and then head out for your first day of fishing.

Once you arrive at the lodge, after breakfast and a quick run down of the program, you will get geared up and head right out to fish. You will return for lunch and a siesta in the midday, and then will head back out round 2pm to fish until dusk. Upon arrival back at the lodge, you’ll have time to relax around the pool with appetizers and cool drinks while dinner is being prepared.

The next two days will be full fishing days with a 5 a.m. knock on your door and coffee and juice to help get you primed for action. Breakfast is at 5:30 a.m., and then you are off to fish. First thing in the morning, you will catch live bait, which is a slam dunk for hungry tarpon. Once you get into the ocean, it’s go time. Your experienced local guide will do all the work to position you for success and ensure you enjoy the tarpon fishing adventure you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Silver King Lodge

Silver King Lodge offers spacious air-conditioned cabins with ceiling fans and private baths. Recent additions of a jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna, masseuse, and flat screen televisions with satellite in all rooms are really the crowning touches on this deluxe lodge. All your meals are served family style with plenty for everyone. The lodge bar is the perfect tropical gathering place after a great day of fishing. The bar is open for you when your guide brings you back for lunch until you go back out for the afternoon – and again when you come in for the evening until the last guest goes to bed.

Rio Parismina Lodge

Rio Parismina Lodge is a stunning resort property comprising more than 50 acres of land. The lodge’s rich tropical landscape provides an idyllic setting for dining and relaxing after thrilling days of big game fishing. The main lodge, which was constructed from the jungle’s indigenous hardwoods, is an impressive gathering place for your group. The lodge’s swimming pool and jacuzzi are a welcome respite from the day’s angling action, and each day is capped off with a hearty dinner of local favorites.
