Trek International Safaris is excited to introduce you to a thrilling new European shooting adventure that can be customized for a variety of group configurations and stay lengths. Trek’s exclusive partnership with England’s historic Ashcombe Park Estate provides our clients with exceptional partridge, pheasant and duck hunting, as well as an authentic, high-end English cultural experience to be cherished for a lifetime.
The Trip
This stunning 1,700-acre estate is an exquisitely updated historical landmark located in the heart of Staffordshire’s Consall Valley, just 2.5 hours from London’s Heathrow airport. The program includes three days of shooting or other exceptional activities for non hunters and four nights accommodations. Dating back to the 17th century, the manor itself provides luxury accommodation for both shooters and non-hunting companions alike.
To reach Ashcombe Park Estate, you can opt to take a number of direct flights from the U.S. to Heathrow in London, where you’ll be met by a Trek partner representative and transferred approximately 2.5 hours to the estate which is located in Staffordshire. Or, you may elect to arrive into Manchester for a 45-minute transfer to Ashcombe.
The Experience
All 16 shooting drives are within a short distance of the manor, and you’ll ride in style in Ashcombe Park’s fully stocked, wifi-equipped gun bus. Each shooting day begins between 8:30-9am, when you’ll have a full English breakfast, including coffee or tea, before you board the Gun Bus to travel to your first drive.
You’ll enjoy five drives each day, with a gourmet lunch at the manor after the third drive. Following the last two drives, the gun bus will bring you back to the manor for cocktails and dinner.
The Accommodations
Opulent and ornate, the manor house is a visually stunning retreat set in 220 acres of parkland and woodland. As you approach through the sweeping gated driveway, the house strikes a dramatic presence.
Ten magnificent king bedrooms are the perfect place to enjoy rest and relaxation. Each room is uniquely conceived, featuring a luxury en-suite bathroom. Communal areas, such as the great room and study are spacious and exquisitely decorated. Ashcombe Park’s award-winning chef oversees a fine dining program that perfectly compliments the breathtaking setting.
