Las Palomas Lodge offers the ultimate in privacy and comfort, while still maintaining the authenticity for which Trek’s Bolivian partners, The Molina Family, has always been known. The lodge was born out of the vision of Jorge Molina, a four-time Colombian national skeet shooting champion and two-time member of Colombia’s Olympic skeet shooting team.

Shorter flight times than many South American destinations, high-touch levels of staff service and acute attention to details are significant reasons many of our clients return annually to Las Palomas. Of course, the incredible population of doves our shooters encounter here also contributes greatly to the high demand for space at Las Palomas. In addition to the intense dove shooting you’ll experience here, you’ll also enjoy a morning pigeon hunt.

Repeat bookings usually account for a high percentage of space at Las Palomas each year. As such, if you’re considering a trip in the near future, please contact Trek at the earliest so we can secure your desired dates.

Although airfare is not included, both Air Boliviana and COPA offer daily service into Santa Cruz, Bolivia. When you arrive into Santa Cruz, you will be met by a member of Jorge’s staff who’ll assist you through customs and then provide either transfer to your hotel in Santa Cruz for the night, or the 90 minute ground transfer to Los Guaduales, depending upon the airline schedule chosen. On day two of your adventure, after lunch and getting settled in, your group will head out to shoot late ‪this afternoon. The next two, or three days will be full shooting days, with one of the morning shoot being a bonus pigeon shoot. As the drives to the fields are in the 60-90-minute range, we will return to the lodge in the midday for a relaxing lunch and siesta before shooting the late afternoon flight. The last lodge day, you will shoot in the morning, before having lunch and being transferred back to Santa Cruz, where you will spend your final night before taking your scheduled flight home the following morning.

Those who have experienced the Bolivian Adventures wingshooting program before know this is a truly special place, where waves of doves roll overhead with such relentless intensity, sometimes you have to stop shooting and take in the awe of the spectacle. You will also enjoy a morning pigeon shoot for one of your hunts during this adventure.

Las Palomas is a first-class lodge with single occupancy, air conditioning and swimming pool. With 12 single rooms, Las Palomas offers the ultimate in privacy and comfort while still maintaining the lodge “feel” that the Molina’s have always been known for. By the end of your visit, you will feel like part of the family.
