This five-day, four night Costa Rica angling adventure delivers three full days of chasing billfish in one of the global epicenters of blue-water fishing. In addition to offering some of the most exceptional billftshing on earth, Los Suenos is a place to escape from the busyness of life in an idyllic tropical setting.
The Trip
The trip will begin upon your arrival into San Jose, Costa Rica. After clearing customs and immigrations, you will be met by a member of the Good Day Team staff, our ground agents in San Jose, and be transferred 90 minutes to the Los Suenos Resort on the central Pacific coast. You can have daily breakfasts at the marina and evenings will also be at leisure at Los Suenos. You might opt to try one of the numerous restaurants in the resort, take a short ride to the nearby town of Jaco Beach, or maybe even hire a private chef to prepare your evening meals, just the way you want them.
The Experience
During the winter months, large pods of sails cruise these waters just a few miles off the coast. Sailfish are not the only game in town however, as you will also be afforded an excellent shot at roosterfish, tuna and dolphin. Under the normal program, you will be up for breakfast on fishing days and then down to the marina to board your boat for full days on the water with lunch, drinks and tackle on board. Now, we do build trips to suit and have boats in all ranges, but our go to is a very nice 36ft Hatteras, perfect for up to four anglers. All boats have all the latest in technology and first class equipment, just a matter of finding the one just right for you. We are also offering customized, overnight trips out to the FADs, these are fish aggregate devices that are anchored between 70-120 miles off the coast and require overnights on the water.
The Accommodations
At Los Suenos we utilize either two- and three-bedroom condos, or we have access to quite a few beautiful homes for those who are looking for the ultimate in privacy. All programs are built to your specifications, so, add an extra fishing day, maybe two more to play golf or to explore the natural beauty of this area, anything is possible.
